Tin Roof Speaks

February 27, 2020  •  Leave a Comment

Nails lose their tenuous grip
as sun bears down on
tin roof, expanding in heat.
Mist first had to part,
allowing sunbeams to burst forth.
Roof speaks as if living.
Swift clouds blow over forest
quieting racuous roof in shade.
